The Technology Centre for Offshore and Marine, Singapore (TCOMS) is a national R&D centre dedicated to the Marine & Offshore sectors. We integrate research and industry expertise to co-create innovative concepts and solutions to address real world challenges. A core feature of TCOMS is our next-generation Ocean Basin research facility equipped with advanced waves and current generation systems. Our key technologies include coupled numerical-physical modelling and simulation capabilities that can recreate complex operating scenarios for stress-testing of asset performance, e.g. offshore wind systems coupled aero-hydrodynamic loading, and digital twinning to enable structural health visibility for predictive maintenance and risk-based inspection.
