PERTAMINA HULU ENERGI (PHE) is a subsidiary of PERTAMINA assigned to manage Upstream Business.

PHE Working Areas covers 43 Domestic Work Areas made up of 27 operator blocks and 16 non-operator blocks, as well as 25 International Work Areas spread across 13 countries in Southeast Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.

PHE has also been a member of United Nation Global Compact (UNGC) since June 2022, committed to the Ten Universal Principles of UNGC in its strategies.
